Historically, Monte Carlo techniques have been considered by many to be the only viable option for accurate three dimensional transport calculations. Although certainly capable of producing accurate results when employed by experienced users, long computational times, statistical noise, lack of CAD/CAE integration, and an absence of global solution data prevent the effective use of Monte Carlo for product design.

Attila was developed to provide engineers with an accurate, design-based environment which can compliment Monte Carlo verification. With Attila, engineers can rapidly explore the effects of design perturbations while achieving comprehensive solution insight.
